Dr Nick has been working in the veterinary field for 8 years now.

What inspired you to work in the Veterinary field?
I grew up with dogs, goats, sheep and chickens around, I became very interested in animal health at a very young age.

Share a memorable experience you have had while working with animals in the clinic.
As a student I was very privileged to work with lots of wildlife like koalas, crocodiles and bats. I have also enjoyed traveling to Fiji and Laos to work in desexing projects abroad.

What do you find most rewarding about your work with animals?
Building relationships with clients and their pets. Whether it is initial puppy/kitten vaccinations, surgeries or end of life care/euthanasia, I like being a part of care for people's pets. I also love a very interesting medical/surgical case!

Do you have any special interests or areas of expertise within veterinary medicine?
I am very interested in soft tissue surgery and endocrinology.
